The City of Edgewater has partnered with Scraps for composting services!Sign up for Scraps compost pickup service in Edgewater, and you’ll receive:

• 64-gallon rolling cart, for yard waste plus household food waste

Once you sign up, Scraps will reach out to you with your official welcome email, including your start date & bin delivery date.

In an effort to encourage folks to send LESS material to the landfill, compost pricing is determined by your trash bin size.

• For residents who have 96-gallon trash bin, the cost to add year-round composting is $17.50/month.

• For residents who reduce landfill waste by choosing the 32- or 64-gallon trash bin, the cost to add year-round composting is $16.50/month.

Water

The City of Edgewater is responsible for maintaining and replacing water mains, while property owners are responsible for the service lines and water meters at their address. Water meters must be purchased from the City of Edgewater, please contact 720-763-3005. The installation of a water meter can be done by a licensed plumber, the City does not install the meter but does require an inspection to ensure it meets our installation requirements. Water meters are read once a month by City staff and that water use information is conveyed to you each month on your water bill. Water bills are due by close of business on the 25th of each month.

Sewer

Sewer lines are the property of the homeowner to the point of connection with the City of Edgewater sewer main or the East Jeffco Sanitation District.
