Our annual fitness center closure is scheduled for March 16-22, 2026 (Monday-Sunday.)  The city desk, police desk and the library will hold normal operating hours. The gymnasium, activity rooms, fitness center/desk will be CLOSED. There will be no fitness classes or adult/youth/senior programs inside the Civic Center during this week. Parks and Recreation staff will be in the building completing deep cleaning and maintenance projects, supervising vendors and training.

Additionally, the start of closure week marks the end of the TV service.  The decision to cancel the TV service is based on limited functionality, a lack of service vendors, long-term budget sustainability concerns, and the shift toward more efficient/convenient technology through mobile devices.

Things to look forward to; hyper cleaned spaces, scrubbed/polished floors, newly refinished gym floor and a second power mill!

If you have a monthly, annual or insurance based membership, keep an eye out for a secondary email about being able to use your membership at Whitlock Recreation Center!

(Adult basketball league on 03/22/26 is unaffected by this closure.)
